Mk Hotel Remscheid

This place is super cozy and located in a new building with awesome city views 🌆. It's in a prime spot, right by the town center and near the Oberbergischer Reis as well as a cool brewery/pub.

The property's location was particularly good and magnificent, close to the train station. It was also close enough to the restaurant in the evening as well as Cologne.

The rooms are very quiet and well kept and many ofthe staff spoke English which made it easy to get the important matters sorted quickly.

About the only think that I found difficult at times was the small amount of parking for the size of the hotel. When a large event is taking place (in this case conventions by IG Metall and then a fishing group), parking became very difficult and I had to park my own car off-site at the station approx 100 metres away.

I ate my evening meal in the restaurant. As part of the main dish I ordered were asparagus. I received 3 (only) asparagus that were bitter, somewhat hard and not well peeled before boiling. In Germany this is very bad since asparagus at this time of the year are at their best. So no excuse. The 2 white wines (one German reisling and one S. American chardonnay) I ordered with the meal were both without taste. In fact the Lidl supermarket down the road seels better tasting wine. The only good part was the pork fillets that were tender and tasty. On the whole I was disappointed with this hotel restaurant. Normally in Germany hotel restaurants serve quite good food.

Location: the hotel was just next door to the big roundabout and Remscheid train station. The room was lovely modern and well laid out with comfortable bed, a floor-standing fan, as example, had the best night sleep...

There was no phone in our room due to it was being repaired.

Nothing to dislike.

We loved everything about this hotel. From its great location near the Christmas market and the city center to the super clean rooms that come equipped with an exercise mat and apparatus, we couldn't have asked for more.

This place is in an incredible location, right at the train station and very central. It's just a short walk to the pedestrian area of the town, making it super convenient for exploring. The staff here are top-notch and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The room amenities are great, with everything you need from an ironing facilities to an electric kettle. The soundproofed rooms ensure a peaceful night's sleep, and the flat-screen TV is a nice touch for some entertainment.

This hotel is great for families, with a children's menu and wheelchair access available.

Great value for the money, with spacious rooms and a newly renovated bathroom. The hotel's central location right by the train station was really convenient. The staff were friendly and cute, especially when we arrived late. We also loved the unique touch of having exercise equipment in the room, it was quite entertaining. And we can't forget to mention the delicious beer from the in-house brewery - a definite highlight!

The only improvement needed would be to have a better stocked breakfast bar.
